Online dissemination event in Georgia

At the end of August, 2021, head of Civil Forum Lali Omiadze, SYP project coordinator Dimitri Kaulashvili and Nona Khizanishvili, a representative from Academy for Peace and Development (APD), held an online meeting with young people aged 16-24 to discuss our “Share Your Peace” project, its importance for young people and the necessity to promote peace in local communities. Some of the youth were from IDP communities, others were from the conflict affected areas, and therefore the topic and project was important for the participants.

During the meeting, Lali Omiadze introduced project’s aim and goal and discussed in details what the project is about and how it promotes peace and peace education among young people. Afterwards Dimitri Kaulashvili presented the SYP online platform and discussed in detail e-learning modules. He presented the website and all steps that is necessary to register for the online platform. Dimitri introduced 8 studying modules and quizzes, and showed the participant the basic functionalities of the platform. Young people were encouraged to subscribe to the platform and many of them expressed their interest in e-learning course.
